The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Mason County until 11:45 a.m.

At 10:40 a.m. a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest of Ludington State Park moving east at 50 mph. The thunderstorm may produce hail from quarter to ping pong ball size as well as 60 mph wind gusts.
