Passenger injured, driver arrested in ORV crash.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 28-year-old Scottville man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post following an ORV crash on LaSalle Road near Hansen Road Sunday, Aug. 23, shortly before 3 a.m., according to Trooper Todd Goodrich.

The side-by-side struck a tree, Goodrich said, and a female passenger received minor injuries. She sought her own medical treatment.

Friday, Aug. 21, 2020:

– 8:14 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, Custer Road near Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.

– 8:41 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, minor injuries, Main and First streets, Village of Custer.

– 6:43 p.m., (MCSO), single-vehicle crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Highway near Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020:

– 1:31 p.m., (MCSO), a 44-year-old Scottville man was arrested for an outstanding warrant, City of Scottville.

– 11:01 p.m., (Michigan State Police), hit-and-run rollover crash, 4000 block of West Johnson Road near Brye Road, Amber Township.

Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020:

– 7:40 p.m., (MSP), an 18-year-old Free Soil man was cited for careless driving and operating without insurance, Reek Road near Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
