Vehicle flips following Amber Twp. crash.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A two vehicle crash resulted in one vehicle flipping over and landing in a field at the intersection of Hansen and Amber roads Monday afternoon. The crash occurred about 4:05 p.m. when a GMC Yukon, traveling east on Hansen Road, and a Chevrolet Cruz, heading southbound on Amber Road, collided. The driver of the Cruz was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.

The Cruz was driven by a 55-year-old Hart man while the Yukon was driven by a 26-year-old Custer man, according to Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies on scene.

Injuries were minor and nobody required medical transportation.

Emergency units responding included MCSO, Scottville Fire Department, Custer Fire Department, and Life EMS.
