LUDINGTON — Ludington police officers responded to two domestic violence incidents — including one case that may result in a felony charge — Tuesday, July 15, according to Ludington Police Chief Timothy Kozal.

The following is police activity in Mason County Tuesday, July 14, 2020:

– 6:45 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Masten Road south of Hawley Road, Logan Township.

– 7:45 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​​​911 hang up – unfounded, 800 block of Staffon Street, City of Ludington.

– 11:50 a.m., (LPD), ​​suspicious situation – unfounded​, Dowland and Madison streets, City of Ludington.

– 1 p.m., (LPD), ​​threats complaint, 500 block of East Danaher Street, City of Ludington. The case remains under investigation.

– 1:37 p.m., (LPD), ​​stolen vehicle – unknown suspect, 800 block of East Loomis Street, City of Ludington. The case remains under investigation.

– 2:13 p.m., (LPD), ​trouble with a subject, 400 block of South Jackson Street, City of Ludington.​

– 4:48 p.m.​, (LPD), domestic dispute, 400 block of James Street, City of Ludington.​

– 5:20 p.m.​, (LPD), felony domestic assault investigation, 700 block of North Emily​ Street, City of Ludington. The report was presented to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office Wednesday, July 15, for charges against a 37-year-old Ludington man.

– 6:13 p.m.​, (LPD), ​illegal dumping investigation, James and Loomis streets, City of Ludington.

– 7:20 p.m., (LPD), ​​domestic assault investigation, 100 block of West Melendy Street, City of Ludington. The report was presented to the prosecutor office Wednesday for a domestic violence charges against a 23-year-old Ludington man.
