Scottville Youth Football camp scheduled. 

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Youth Football (Pop Warner) program is offering its annual summer football camp Tuesday, July 28 through Thursday, July 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at MacPhail Field. On the third day of camp the Scottville Optimist Club Tri-Star Punt, Pass & Kick contest will be held. Awards will be handed out for the top three scorers in each category within each age division (ages 8-10 and ages 11-13). 

The camp schedule is subject to change or be cancelled based on COVID-19 status. Health screenings will be mandatory each day at camp. On the first day a waiver form and registration form must be filled out upon arrival. Participants must bring their own water bottle as a safety precaution and arrive 20 minutes early if possible. 

Camp will be free of charge this year.

Participants must be at least 8-years-old as of Aug. 1, 2020 and no older than 12-years-old as of Aug. 1, 2020. The program is intended for kids in grades three through six with some exceptions for seventh graders.

Regular program registration and equipment handout have not yet been scheduled. The regular season is currently scheduled to begin on August 17 pending any further changes. 

Scottville Pop Warner provides all equipment for each athlete including certified/reconditioned helmets. However, the organization has been unable to fundraise this year due to the pandemic restrictions. The cost to participate in the regular season is $75 per athlete. Donations are welcome.
