LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Lefler

-Zachary Thomas Lefler, 28, of 4104 65th St., Holland, was arrested July 3 by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) on a felony charge of operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor (OUIL) third offense and misdemeanor charges of transporting an open intoxicant and driving while license suspended (DWLS). Probable cause hearing: July 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Beetz

-Ethan Thomas Beetz, 20, of 183 N. Meyers Rd., Amber Township, was arrested July 4 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor (OUIL) second offense with an occupant under the age of 16. Probable cause hearing: TBD. Bail: $500 cash.

Misemeanors

-James Loring Persinger, 43, of 304 E. Hoague Rd., Free Soil Township; June 7; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); aggravated domestic assault. Pretrial: July 27 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Levi Valentine Athey, 18, of 4068 E. Church St., Fountain; July 9; Scottville Police Department (SPD); third degree retail fraud. Pretrial: Aug. 10 at 9:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Alexander Andrew Bruining, 19, of 9291 Dakota Dr., Allendale; July 9; MCSO; breaking and entering. Pretrial: July 27 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Richard Joseph Byrne, 58, of 12983 Noling Woods Dr., South Lyon; July 9; DNR; illegally taking deer. Pretrial: Aug. 17 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500 personal recognizance.

-Kelly Ann Busk, 40, of 108 E. Filer St., Ludington; July 9; MCSO; second degree retail fraud. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance. 

-Wesley James Cabey, 19, of 13210 Buchanan St., Grand Haven; July 9; MCSO; malicious destruction of a building. Pretrial: July 27 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Jeramee Michael Chandler, 20, of 1218 S. Madison St., Apt. 5, Ludington; July 9; Ludington Police Department; consumption of alcohol/drugs by a minor. Pretrial: Aug. 3 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance. 

-Matthew Bryan Ropp, 35, of 314 Fifth Ave., Manistee; July 9; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: Aug. 10 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Logan Walter Case, 21, of 204 E. Danaher St., Ludington; July 8; LPD; OWI second offense. Pretrial: Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
