The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Monday, July 6, 2020:

– 6:53 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), single vehicle crash, no injuries, 700 block of East Melendy Street, City of Ludington.

– 8:25 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), warrant arrest, 3700 block of West US 10, Amber Township. A 43-year-old Free Soil man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor assault and aggravated domestic violence warrant.

– 9:26 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Barothy Road east of Reid Road, Branch Township.

– 2:15 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Walhalla Road south of US 10, Branch Township.

– 2:32 p.m., (MCSO), larceny of an automotive jump pack, 2300 block of East US 10, Village of Custer. The case remains under investigation.

– 3:28 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

– 4:30 p.m., (Michigan Sate Police), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive near Bryan Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 4:33 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.

– 9:52 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway west of Pere Marquette Highway overpass, Summit Township.

– 9:57 p.m., (MCSO), assault, Stolberg Road and 18th Street, Sheridan Township. A report will be submitted to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office following a reported fight between two women. Minor injuries were reported.

– 11:15 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway and Anthony Road, Summit Township.

– 11:56 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway west of the Pere Marquette Highway overpass, Summit Township.

Tuesday, July 7, 2020:

– 2 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 10 and Schoenherr Road, Branch Township.
