The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Thursday, June 11, 2020:

– 4:28 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 25-year-old Fountain man was arrested for a parole absconder warrant, 600 block of Danaher Street, City of Ludington.

– 5:31 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US31 north of Johnson Road, Amber Township.

– 9:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road south of Mavis Road, Sherman Township.

– 6:10 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $32.62 in fuel stolen, 400 block of East US 10, Scottville EZ Mart, Custer Township.

– 7:46 p.m., (MCSO), assault arrest, 4000 block of West Hansen Road, Amber Township. A 38-year-old Ludington woman was arrested following a 911 call reporting an assault.

– 11:31 p.m., (LPD), a 31-year-old Ludington woman was cited for failure to yield following a two-vehicle non-injury crash, East Fitch Street and North Washington Avenue, City of Ludington.

Friday, June 12, 2020:

– 1:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police), domestic assault, under investigation, 1500 block of West Countyline Road, Grant Township.
