PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office related to the alleged theft of food from Walmart Thursday, June 4, around 5 p.m. involving a 52-year-old Hart man and a 50-year-old Hart woman, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

– 10:03 a.m., (LPD), a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested for resisting and opposing police, North Atkinson Drive, City of Ludington.

– 10:15 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road north of Hawley Road, Eden Township.
