LUDINGTON — A 22-year-old Free Soil male was arrested by Ludington police officers for operating while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident after hitting a shed with his vehicle just before midnight Thursday, April 23, in the 300 block of West Lowell Street and then leaving the scene, according to the Ludington Police Department.

The following is other recent LPD activity Thursday, April 23, 2020:

– 6:59 a.m., breaking and entering to a vehicle, 600 block of North Harrison Street, City of Ludington. The complainant stated that her car was entered, and the contents were rifled through, but nothing was stolen.

– 8:57 a.m., larceny from a vehicle, 600 block of North Harrison Street, City of Ludington. A medical bag and a quartz rock were stolen.

– 1:44 p.m., a 70-year-old Scottville man was cited for impeding traffic following a non-injury vehicle crash, East Dowland Street and South Washington Avenue, City of Ludington.
