Scottville to seek bids for assessor, attorney.

SCOTTVILLE — Scottville City Commission will be seeking proposals for assessing and legal services. During its regular meeting on Monday, March 16, the commission will review the language presented by City Manager Courtney Magaluk for requests for proposals for city assessor and city attorney.

Currently, Sam Barnett serves as the city’s assessor and Thompson, Thompson and Glanville serve as city attorney. Both have served the city for many years without contract. In an effort to be consistent with all outside services, the city commission has instructed Magaluk to seek bids for services.

Once presented to the city commission Monday, Magaluk will offer the RFPs to the current contractors and others and will then set a deadline for responses.

City Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. at city hall, 105 N. Main St.
