79th District Court sentencings, posted March 12, 2020.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Brooke LeeAnn Avery, 27, of 920 N. Harrison St., Ludington, pleaded guilty March 10 to third degree retail fraud and driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must continue current counseling program; and $645 in fines/costs. May perform 53 hours of community service in lieu of paying fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). Two counts of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) and two counts of unlawful license plates were dismissed.

-Michael Dwayne Gilbert, 51, of 511 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty March 10 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must attend DUI2 Education Program; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Sidney Joshua May, 25, of 504 ½ E. Dowland St., Ludington, pleaded guilty March 10 to operating a vehicle while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend Victim’s Impact Panel; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must attend substance use disorder program; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Adrian Aniceto Ramirez, 26, of 4227 W. Tyler Rd., Hart, pleaded guilty March 10 to OWIL and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject tor random PBTs and drug tests; must attend substance use disorder program; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Jesus Delgado-Quintana, 23, of 157 S. Wildwood Run, Apt. 8, Amber Township, pleaded guilty March 10 to OWIL and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Pamela Jean Cilman, 34, of 202 N. Reinberg Ave., Scottville, pleaded guilty March 10 to third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $595 in fines/costs. Must pay $125 within 30 days and may perform 47 hours of community service within six months in lieu of paying balance of fines/costs.

-Dennis Lee Krajkiewicz, 59, of 428 E. Wilson Rd., Custer Township, pleaded guilty March 10 to attempted third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 45 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines/costs.

-Patrick Masiwchuk, 38, of 5961 W. Decker Rd., Hamlin Township, was found guilty by a jury on March 9 for driving while license suspended and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year and must pay $815 in fines/costs. Must pay $125 within six months and may perform 69 hours of community service within 10 months in lieu of fines/costs.  Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Jeremiah Edmund Dyga, 39, of 2362 Dango, Muskegon, pleaded guilty March 10 to DWLS and was sentenced to 22 days in jail with credit for 22 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of not having vehicle insurance was dismissed.

-Mark Allen Collins, 53, of 1996 Dewey Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty March 10 to failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; and $595 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

 

Dismissals

-Melissa Lee Hargain, 37, of 209 Broadway Ave., Scottville, had a motion for dismissal granted in part with prejudice on a charge of embezzlement by an agent/trustee less than $200 on March 10.
