Fountain man arrested for fifth DWLS charge.

LUDINGTON — A 60-year-old Fountain man was arrested by the Mason County sheriff’s deputies for a subsequent-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) charge following a traffic stop Tuesday, March 10, shortly before 10 a.m. at First and Sherman streets, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The suspect has four prior DWLS convictions, Cole said.

Monday, March 9, 2020:

– 11:35 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 26-year-old Muskegon woman and a 28-year-old Muskegon man were arrested on warrants, US 10 and Rienberg Road, City of Scottville.

Tuesday, March 10, 2020:

– 1:02 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), an 80-year-old Ludington man was cited for careless driving following a vehicle crash, 400 block of North Rowe Street, City of Ludington.

– 7:49 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
