Obituary: James Haranda, 86, Ludington.

James Haranda, 86, of Ludington passed away Friday, March 6, 2020. He was born March 31, 1933 in Pinconning to Edward F. and Catherine (Gerhardt) Haranda. Jim married Jeanne E. Hages on May 7, 1966.

Jim is survived by his sons, Alan (Barb) Haranda and Scott Haranda; his stepsons, Larry (Roxanne) Gerhardt, Mike (Kim) Gerhardt, and Chris Gerhardt; his daughter, Joye (John) Samuels; his brother, Joseph Haranda; his sisters, Rosalia Belcher and Marian (Norman) Charters; and many grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne; his brothers; George and Thomas Haranda; his sister, Cecelia Hewitt; and his stepson, Randy Gerhardt.

According to Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being held.
