Motorist hits patrol car.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A motorist hit a Michigan State Police cruiser in the 3000 block of US 10 Wednesday, March 4, at 1 p.m., according to Trooper Kelsey Case.

The driver was attempting to make a turn into a US 10 business when the crash occurred, Case said. No one was injured.

It was not immediately known if the driver was cited, because the accident report is not completed.

– 8:11 a.m., (LPD), a 43-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a warrant from Lake County for failure to appear, 400 East Resseguie Street, City of Ludington.

– 10 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), sex offender registry violation, warrant requested, 2400 block of 18th Street, Sheridan Township. A report is being forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office regarding a 31-year-old Fountain man who allegedly failed to verify his address.

– 3:30 p.m., (LPD), a 32-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 700 block of North Emily Street, City of Ludington.

– 10:44 p.m., (LPD), a 28-year-old Ludington woman was cited for improper plate, East Melendy and South James streets, City of Ludington.
