Audubon Society to hold owl foray Friday.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — The Sable Dunes Audubon Society will hold an owl foray on Friday, March 6. Those interested in attending should meet in the parking lot north of Mancino’s on the northeast corner of US 10 and Jebavy Drive in Pere Marquette Township. The group will then carpool to Fisher Road where local birding expert David Dister will lead the group.

The moon is expected to be nearing full phase. Those attending should bring a headlamp or small flashlight, along with a reflective vest.
