Free Soil man arrested for fourth OWI.

FOUNTAIN — A 56-year-old Free Soil man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies on his fourth operating while intoxicated (OWI) charge following a traffic stop Saturday, Feb. 29, at 6:26 p.m. at the intersection of Cleveland and Main streets, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Friday, Feb. 28, 2020:

– 1:06 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 22-year-old Fountain man was cited for improper plate, North Gaylord Avenue and West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 11:45 a.m., (LPD), a 36-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested on two warrants — one from Ottawa County and one from Muskegon County, 900 block of East Diana Street, City of Ludington.

– 2:39 p.m., (MCSO), a 53-year-old Branch man was arrested for subsequent-offense DWLS following a traffic stop, Jebavy Drive and US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The suspect has three prior DWLS convictions, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

– 3:29 p.m., (LPD), a 28-year-old Twin Lake male was arrested on a Muskegon County warrant, 100 block of North Harrison Street, City of Ludington.
