The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020:

– 8:14 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 58-year-old Ludington woman was cited for improper license plate, West Tinkham Avenue, City of Ludington,

– 8:40 a.m., (LPD), a 22-year-old Custer man was cited for operating without insurance, Third Street and South Washington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 1:45 p.m., (LPD), a 61-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) at Iris Road and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020:

– 6:30 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, Custer Road near Hansen Road, Custer Township.

– 9:55 p.m., (MCSO), a 52-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for OWI, Dennis Road near Johnson Road, Amber Township. Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch and after a subsequent investigation, the suspect was arrested, said Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
