A winter storm warning is in effect from 10 p.m. tonight until 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12. Heavy mixed precipitation is expected with total snow and sleet accumulations of 3 to 10 inches and ice accumulations of 1/10 to 3/10 of an inch. Northeast winds will gust as high as 40 mph.

The heaviest snow is expected north and west of a line from Whitehall to Clare, with mostly sleet and freezing rain southeast of that line.
