March for Life is Jan. 19.

LUDINGTON — The annual Ecumenical Memorial Service and Silent March for Life will take place on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Community Church, 109 N. Harrison St. The event coincides with the 47th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolten, which took place on Jan. 22, 1973.

The event will include guest speakers, the Milstead family, who will share their adoption story. Participants may then walk silently to the Mason County Courthouse, and then return to the church for refreshments and fellowship. Special music will be provided by the Lighthouse Baptist Youth Choir.
