Obituary: Sidney Morell, 79, Custer.

Sidney L. Morell, 79, of Custer, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 22, 2019. He was born April 14, 1940 in Ludington to Larry and Velva (All) Morell. He graduated from Mason County Central High School in 1958.  He was a master electrician who worked over the years at Merrill Electric and retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers approximately 17 years ago.

Sidney enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering with things, telling stories, and making people laugh.

He is survived by his sons, Jeff (Heidi) Morell of Custer, Dennis (Melinda Reed) Morell of Branch; his three grandchildren; his sister Linda (Glenn) Ohse of Custer; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Sidney was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandy and Sharon.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 6  8 p.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Meals on Wheels of Scottville.
