CUSTER – A female teacher at Mason County Eastern Schools suffered two loose teeth after a male student allegedly punched her in the face Wednesday, Sept. 18, shortly before 2:30 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“A teacher at MCE reportedly sustained an injury to her face – two loosened teeth – after being struck in the mouth by a juvenile student,” said Cole. The case is being forwarded to juvenile court authorities, because the suspect is a juvenile under the age of 17.

Information regarding the grade level or age of the student was not immediately available.
