Pennies from Heaven supports MCE robotics team with a $5,000 grant.

CUSTER — The Pennies from Heaven Foundation presented a check for $5,000 this morning, Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, to the Mason County Eastern Cardinaltronics robotics team during a school assembly.

The Pennies from Heaven Foundation is a local family foundation working to address the greatest needs in local communities.

“We are proud to support the MCE Robotics team,” said Monica Schuyler, executive director of the foundation. “We know this is not just a fun program, but teaches students how to use their education outside of the classroom while learning valuable life skills. We hope this grant helps the MCE Robotics team do their best this year.

“Pennies Foundation recognizes that quality educational opportunities benefit the lives of our students and us all.”

The $5,000 grant goes towards the $12,000 it takes to run the program each year.
