Beach hazard statement, lakeshore flooding warning continue

A beach hazard statement and lakeshore flooding warning remain in effect. The flooding warning is expected to end by 2 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4 while the beach hazard statement continues through Wednesday afternoon.

A lakeshore flood warning means that flooding is occurring or imminent along the lake. Residents on or near the shore in the warned area should be alert for rising water and take appropriate action to protect life and property.

Some clouds are expected tonight. A stray thunderstorm is possible. Low temperatures will be about 55 degrees.
