79th District Court sentencings and dismissals, Aug. 29, 2019

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Gary Mitchell Gibson, 67, of 1536 Betty Ave., Pere Marquette Township, pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OUIL) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). 

-Howard Mark Larson, 33, of 5607 N. Stiles Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to 19 days in jail with credit for 19 days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have an anger management evaluation at Community Mental Health; no drugs/alcohol; must continue current counseling program; and $385 in fines/costs.

-Robin Lynn Lopez, 53, of 6728 Bryant Rd., Pere Marquette Township, pleaded no contest Aug. 27 to third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $670 in fines/costs.

 

Dismissals

-Jeffrey Scott Segelstrom, 52, of 2482 21st St., Sheridan Township, had a charge of second offense operating while license suspended dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 27 per a plea agreement.

-Kit Albert McClure, 69, of 2946 S. Grantsyn Trail, Branch, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 27 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Kari Anne Crysler, 40, of 14351 Osborn Ave., Bitely, had charges of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) and operating without a license dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 27 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Joseph Chester Lombardo, 53, of 34276 Dover St., Livonia, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 27 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Taya Nichole Piscopink, 21, of 170 S. Menes St., Walkerville, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 27 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Jeremiah Gordon Johnson, 42, of 2444 W. Johnson Rd., Amber Township, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 27 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Laura May Nitchie, 45, of 1040 Daisy Ln., Lot 23, Pere Marquette Township, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 21 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Travis J.C. Heath, 30, of 302 James St., Scottville, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 21 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Ethan Joe Hill, 20, of 414 Main St., Scottville, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 21 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Steven Leslie Carpenter, 49, of 202 Melendy St., Apt. 1, Ludington, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Aug. 21 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.
