Horowski appointed interim director of CTE, ASM Tech.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Dale Horowski has been appointed by the West Shore Educational Service District as the interim director of career and technical education and ASM Tech following the resignation of Lynda Matson.

Horowski most recently served as interim assistant superintendent of general education at the ESD and prior to that worked as a consultant at the district. He is a 1977 graduate of Ludington High School and spent his teaching career at Mason County Central High School and Ludington High School before becoming assistant principal of Ludington High School. He retired as principal of LHS in 2016.

“Dale is an extremely talented individual and we know we are in good hands with his leadership through this transition,” said Dr. Jason Jeffrey, superintendent. “We are fortunate that Lynda has left the CTE and ASM programs in great shape with great staff and instructors. She will be greatly missed. We are also fortunate that we have a great relationship with West Shore Community College.”

Jeffrey said the position will eventually be posted and a full time replacement will be hired.
