Fourth-offense DWLS arrest tops police activity.

LUDINGTON – A 48-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Ludington police for fourth-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) on South Washington Avenue Wednesday, July 31, around 9 a.m., according to the Ludington Police Department.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Wednesday, July 31, 2019:

– 5:13 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Hawley Road, Riverton Township.

– 7:03 a.m., (MCSO), warrant arrest, 1900 block of North Wilson Lane, Hamlin Township. A 57-year-old Ludington man was arrested on three outstanding Kent County Friend of the Court warrants following a civil dispute call.

– 8 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Angling and Manales roads, Victory Township.

– 11:25 a.m., (LPD), a 31-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs, 6th Street and South Washington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 1:15 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 near the US 31 freeway, Amber Township.

– 6 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, minor injury, Jebavy Drive and Decker Road, Hamlin Township.
