Man cited for pooping at park.

LUDINGTON – A 68-year-old Ludington man was issued an appearance ticket by a Ludington Police officer for defecating in public at Stearns Park Lake Michigan beach Thursday, July 25, shortly after 10 p.m., according to Ludington Police Chief Mark Barnett.

The officer was on foot patrol and observed the man squatting in the sand dunes. When confronted by the officer, the man said, “I just took a s—,” the police report states.

A preliminary breath test (PBT) indicated the man had not been drinking.
