Thief/thieves get stolen quad stuck in mud.

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP – An intruder or intruders stole a quad runner from a barn in the 3500 block of East Beyer Road and then got it stuck in the mud, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The larceny was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. Several tools were also stolen from the barn.

“The victim reported someone took their quad runner from their barn, which was found damaged and stuck in the mud on the property,” Cole said.

Other police activity Tuesday, July 16, 2019 includes:

– 1:38 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a bench warrant from 79th District Court for failure to appear, 700 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 5:19 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:41 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, Scottville and Meisenheimer roads, Riverton Township.
