Teen wandering in road arrested for meth.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP – An 18-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday, June 12, at 4 a.m. following a 911 call reporting a person wandering around in the roadway on Jebavy Drive near Fountain Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Responding deputies located the man in the 5100 block of North Jebavy Drive who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. He was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, Cole said.

Other police activity in Mason County Wednesday, June 12, 2019 includes:

– 11:08 a.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, US 31 and Treml Road, Grant Township.

– 12:25 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, Foster and Volney streets, Village of Fountain.

– 3:21 p.m., (MCSO), fraud, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. MCSO continues to investigate a complaint involving a male subject who had entered the store and attempted to purchase lottery tickets with a declined credit card.

– 10 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 10 and Walhalla Road, Branch Township.
