100 students to get free plane rides for good attendance.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — About 100 local students will be getting free airplane rides this Saturday as a reward to having good attendance at school. The event is being organized by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Pathways to Potential with rides being provided by Mason County Pilots Association EAA Chapter 72.

Students from Mason County Central, Mason County Eastern and Ludington Area School District will participate in the event at Mason County Airport on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
