79th District Court sentencings, posted May 30, 2019.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Jeremy Jason Bonneau, 45, of 610 N. James St., Ludington, pleaded guilty May 28 to using a controlled substance (narcotics) and was sentenced to 120 days in jail, one year discretionary jail for one year; must have a substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; driver’s license suspended for 60 days and restricted for 305 days; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). Sentence to run concurrent with time imposed in another matter. A charge of possession of methamphetamine/ecstacy was dismissed.

-Jacob Riley Odekirk, 26, of 2800 N. Peterson Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty May 21 to operating a vehicle while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol/controlled substances or marijuana without a prescription; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must attend substance abuse counseling; and $1,150 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Wendi Ann Slimmen, 32, of 7157 E. Martin Ave., Branch Township, pleaded guilty May 28 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must continue current counseling program; and $285 in fines/costs. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.

-Blaine Austin Beemer, 22, of 269 E. Fountain Rd., Sherman Township, pleaded guilty May 28 to impaired driving and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Andrew David Archey, II, 27, of 709 E. Filer St., Apt. 1, Ludington, pleaded guilty May 28 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must maintain employment; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Alyssa Farin Ross, 26, of 235 Maple Rd., Branch Township, pleaded no contest May 28 to third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $895 in fines/costs. May perform 45 hours of community service for a credit towards fines/costs.
