Driver injured following First St. crash.

LUDINGTON — A 28-year-old Ludington man was injured following a single vehicle crash on First Street near Sherman Street today, Friday, May 3. The man was driving a Chevrolet S-10 and appeared to be heading eastbound on First Street. The vehicle ended up in a ditch near a ravine.

The cause of the crash was not known. The man was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. His 3-year-old daughter was a passenger in the front seat of the pickup and was not injured.

Emergency units responding to the scene were Ludington Police Department, Ludington Fire Department and Life EMS.
