Man arrested for drunk driving after going 110 mph on US 10.

AMBER TOWNSHIP – A 37-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated Saturday, April 20, shortly after 2 a.m. on US 10 near Brye Road after a Mason County sheriff’s deputy clocked his vehicle at 110 mph in a 55-mph zone, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

10:45 a.m., (Michigan State Police), larceny theft, 500 block of East Loomis Street, City of Ludington.

1:22 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 38-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a bench warrant issued in Mason County’s 79th District Court, 200 block of South Harrison Street, City of Ludington.

10:17 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Pere Marquette Highway overpass, Summit Township.

10:21 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Decker Road, Custer Township.

11:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Victory Drive, Victory Township.

1:41 a.m., (LPD), a 27-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested on a bench warrant issued in Lake County District Court, 200 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

9:56 a.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $9.41 in fuel was stolen, 5400 block of West US 10 — Airport EZ Mart, Pere Marquette Township.

10:49 a.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $25 in fuel was stolen, 5400 block of West US 10 — Airport EZ Mart, Pere Marquette Township.

12:15 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Summit Township.

12:19 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, minor injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.

2:37 p.m., (LPD), a 20-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), 400 block of East Melendy Street, City of Ludington.

4:05 p/.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $32.45 in fuel was stolen, 5900 block of West US 10 — Ludington EZ Mart, Pere Marquette Township.

6:09 p.m., (MCSO), a 20-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop​, Fountain and LaSalle roads, Victory Township.

7:33 p.m., (MCSO), a 46 year-old Fremont man was arrested for second-offense DWLS and warrant issued in Muskegon County, US 10 and Schoenherr Road, Custer Township.

10:51 p.m., (MCSO), a 26 year-old Ludington man was arrested for probation violation following a 911 call reporting an intoxicated man banging on the door, 5700 block of West Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township. The suspect was found hiding in a shed behind the home. It was determined that he was intoxicated, which is a violation of his 79th District Court probation, said Sheriff Cole.

Sunday, April 21, 2019:

2:12 a.m., (MCSO), a 23-year-old Manistee woman was arrested following a traffic stop for OWI, Hansen and Stiles roads, Amber Township.

2:18 a.m., (LPD), a 21-year-old Ludington man was arrested for OWI, South Washington Avenue and East Loomis Street, City of Ludington.

10:01 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, minor injuries, US 10 and Dandt Road, Custer Township.
