SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County District Library and Mason County Central Schools, in cooperation with West Shore Community College, have launched a program called Unbound. The program allows MCC students to browse the library’s catalog online, from home or at school, and order books from the library. The books are then delivered every few days to the students at the school.

Scottville branch library Director Patti Skinner said the program is being piloted at MCC and is available to all students, grades kindergarten through 12. Students log into the catalog through the school’s website, mccschools.org, and use their student identification number.

The program is being funded through a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Mason County.
