Thursday was bad day for deer in Mason County.

The following was activity of Mason County law enforcement on Thursday, March 7, 2019:

  • 4 a.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), fire truck/deer crash, no injuries, Custer Road north of Wilson Road.
  • 7:40 a.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, Custer Road south of Meisenheimer Road, Eden Township.
  • 8:14 a.m., MCSO, assisted by Ludington Police Dept. (LPD), A 37-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Hart Police Department following a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a residence in 100 block of North Bonnie Street, City of Ludington.
  • 11:20 a.m., LPD, hit and run crash, no injuries, 400 block of South Harrison St., City of Ludington.
  • 2:32 p.m., MCSO, A 25-year-old Copemish man was cited for driving while license suspended, first offense, following a traffic stop at Jebavy Drive and King Road.
  • 7 p.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, Quarterline Road north of First St., Amber Township.
  • 7:04 p.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, Stiles Road north of Beyer Road, Victory Township.
  • 7:59 p.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, Stiles Road north of Sugar Grove Road, Victory Township.
  • 8:56 p.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, Dewey Road west of Lincoln Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 9:44 p.m., MCSO, A 36-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding absconder from probation warrant from Mason County.
