79th District Court sentencings, posted March 7, 2019.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Benjamin W. Hasbrouck, 26, of 1000 W. Washington, Unit 138, Chicago, Illinois, pleaded guilty Mar. 4 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretional jail for one year; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). Charges of operating with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more, refusing a preliminary breath test and driving a vehicle with expired registration were dismissed.

-Christopher Lloyd Rosenow, 40, of 451 W. Free Soil Rd., Grant Township, pleaded guilty Mar. 4 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Raymond Peter Riley, 23, of 7265 Robert Ln., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to operating an ORV while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; must not operate an ORV for 90 days; must complete alcohol highway safety education; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $895 in fines/costs. A charge of trespassing with an ORV on private property was dismissed.

-Danielle Nicole Kalis, 24, of 6690 E. Borowski Rd., Sheridan Township, pleaded guilty Feb. 28 to letting a dog run loose and was sentenced to pay $160 in fines/costs.

 

Dismissals

-Izeek Joe Ratliff, 21, of 312 S. Main St., Scottville, had a charge of breaking and entering dismissed without prejudice on Mar. 4. According to court records, “The defendant has paid the restitution owed to the victim.”

-Jason Michael Perrone, 35, of 580 W. Marrison Rd., Riverton Township, had a charge of assault and battery dismissed after being acquitted during a jury trial on Mar. 5.
