Obituary: Russel Blucker, 81, Ludington.

Russel Richard Blucker, 81, of Ludington, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Russel was born on October 16, 1937 in Ludington, the son of Russel and Ruby (Bush) Blucker.  He graduated from Ludington High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force. While stationed in the state of Washington, he met his beloved Bonnie Edler.  He and Bonnie were kindred spirits. Their lives seemed to always match up perfectly; enjoying the same things, thinking the same thoughts. They truly enjoyed each other’s company, whether it was kayaking, bowling, or just being together.

Russel was an electrician for the Everett (Washington) Public School system then moved back to Ludington after he retired in 1996.  Russel was a TRIAD volunteer with the Ludington Police Department.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Bonnie Blucker; and his children; Sharyl (David) Kolster, Clifford Blucker, Jeff (Rebecca) Strike, and John Strike.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Russel and Ruby Blucker, and his stepson Brian Strike.

There are no services planned at this time.
