Obituary: Lucille Pickard, 82, Ludington.

Lucille Pickard, age 82, of Ludington, formerly of Muskegon, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Oakview Medical Care Facility.  

Lucille was born on February 2, 1937 in Muskegon, the daughter of Jess and Mary Holey.  She married William Pickard in 1987. Lucille enjoyed playing cards, watching Tigers baseball, and spending time with family, especially her grandson Quinn.  Lucille was a friend to all and lived her life to bring joy to others.

Lucille is survived by her son, John (Jen) Merchant; grandson, Quinn Merchant; brothers, Jay and Alfred Long; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jesse Holey and Mary Long; husband, William Pickard; sisters, Delores, Avenelle, Irene, twin sister Lois; and brother, Frank.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, with visitation starting at 10 a.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Ludington Area Senior Center or Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan, in Grand Rapids.
