Local movie launches Reformed Church’s Beat the Winter Blues series.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Reformed Church is launching its February weekend series Beat the Winter Blues beginning Saturday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. with the viewing of locally-filmed movie “God Bless the Broken Road,” written and directed by Mason County resident Harold Cronk. The church will also show “The Incredibles 2” with supervised childcare. Entry is free and includes popcorn and water. Cronk will speak after the movie. 

Other free February Saturday events include:

  • Feb. 9, Soup Pitch-in and live music by the Rockuary Band, 6 p.m.
  • Feb. 15, Game-on! Night with corn hole, ping pong and board games, 6 p.m.
  • Feb. 23, Trivia Night, $5 per team to sign up. Childcare available for $3 per child. Includes pizza for each team. Begins at 6 p.m.

Mason County Reformed Church is located at the intersection of US 10-31 and Amber Road.
