A winter storm remains in effect from 1 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2019. According to the National Weather Service, heavy snow is expected with total accumulations of 8 to 12 inches along with winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Wind chills could reach as low as 25 degrees below zero causing frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
