Drug charges top recent arraignments, posted Jan. 24, 2019.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court.

Felonies

Totten

-Donnie Ray Totten, III, 24, of 1085 E. Hawley Rd., Eden Township, was arrested Jan. 16 by the State, Sheriff, and City Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance – narcotics and a misdemeanor charge of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Preliminary hearing: Jan. 30 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Dietz

-Aaron Michael Dietz, 20, of 9477 W. 12 Mile Rd., Walkerville, was arrested Nov. 10 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of receiving and concealing stolen property of $1,000 or more but less than $20,000. Preliminary hearing: Jan. 30 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 personal recognizance. See related story here.

Bills

-James Allen Bills, 30, of 10860 Parkwood Dr., Montague, was arrested Nov. 1 by MCSO on a felony charge of failure to register as a sex offender and a misdemeanor charge of second offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: Feb. 6 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.

Misdemeanors

-Jonathan Sherrod Soloman-Jones, 27, of 109 E. Foster St., Ludington; Jan. 17; Michigan State Police (MSP); malicious use of telecommunications services. Pretrial: Feb. 4 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Jean Ann Lopatkow, 35, of 929 N. Gaylord Ave., Ludington; Jan. 18; Ludington Police Department (LPD); aggravated assault. Pretrial: Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Heather Marie Tatro, 35, of 929 N. Gaylord Ave., Ludington; Jan. 21; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: Feb. 4 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
