Felony assault tops recent arraignments

The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Gerbers

-Justin Gerald Gerbers, 19, of 124 W. Filer St., Ludington, was arrested Jan. 13 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on felony charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, domestic violence and malicious destruction of property over $200 but less than $1,000. Preliminary hearing: Jan. 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

Tyndall

-Craig Allan Tyndall, 45, of 10982 N. Turner Rd., Irons, was arrested Sept. 15, 2018 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of fourth offense habitual offender and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle without the intent to steal. Preliminary hearing: Jan. 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500 personal recognizance.

Misdemeanors

-Drew Percy Amy, 18, of 2768 N. US 31, Sherman Township; Dec. 10; MCSO; malicious destruction of property, reckless driving and disturbing the peace. Pretrial: Feb. 4 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Katherine Serene Jensen, 50, of 924 E. Tinkham Ave., Apt. 216, Ludington; Dec. 24; LPD; two counts of larceny less than $200. Pretrial: Jan. 28 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Zachary Scott Wehner, 26, no address listed; Dec. 30; LPD; trespassing. Pretrial: Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. Bail: $1,500 personal recognizance.

-Tammy Lynn Thompson, 39, of 103 Gay St., Scottville; Dec. 21; Michigan State Police (MSP); failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial: Jan. 28 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $1,500 personal recognizance.
