Harsco employees hold decorating contest, raise over $3,600 for Toys for Tots.
PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The employees of Harsco Rail recently raised $3,628.12 and collected four large bags of toys to be donated to Five CAP’s Toys for Tots/Gifts for Teens program. Money was raised though a decorating contest. During off-work times, employees started decorating and then voting was done in the form of money. The group that got the most money/votes, the service evaluators, won by collecting $985. Second place was fabrication, collecting $764.37 and third place was tool crib, $698. Donations were also made by non-employees.
