FloraCraft chair gives almost $4 million in Christmas bonuses to employees.

LUDINGTON — The employees of FloraCraft have received a little something special in their Christmas stockings this year. Company founder and Chairman Lee Schoenherr has given out nearly $4 million to full-time employees as a way to saying thank you for their hard work and dedication in helping to build the Ludington company into a global leader in the manufacturing of foam products for the craft and floral industries, according to a press release from the company.

While business owners occasionally provide monetary gifts after the sale of their company, Lee’s gift is unique because he has no intention of selling – his goal is to continue growing his business right here in Michigan, the release stated.

FloraCraft is the world’s leading manufacturer of foam products for the craft and floral industries. The company started after World War II.
