LUDINGTON –– The following were sentenced recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

– Christopher John Field, 36, of 4621 W. Washington Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty Sept. 10 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $325 in fines and costs. One count of failure to stop at a personal injury accident was dismissed Nov. 9.

– John Daniel Healy, 39, of 323 N. Amber Rd., Amber Township, was found guilty Oct. 30 of operating an ORV while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend session of the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); ORV operating privileges suspended for 90 days; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); and $870 in fines and costs. One count of operating an ORV under the influence of liquor was dismissed.

– Andrew John LeClaire, 36, of 4446 Cherrywood Court, Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 30 of marijuana use and was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Dennis Wayne Gribner, 50, of 6435 W. Beech St., Hamlin Township, was found guilty Nov. 15 of no name/address on tree stand and was sentenced to $185 in fines and costs.

– Steven Montgomery McClees, 40, of 1182 S. Wolf Lake Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Nov. 15 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $335 in fines and costs.

– Cindy Sue Brumm, 56, of 3080 Tonawanda Trail, New Era, was found guilty Nov. 13 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); must attend next session of VIP; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $870 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Caryn Dolores Myers, 29, of 1455 W. Beyer Rd., Victory Township, was found guilty Nov. 13 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; AHSE; must attend next session of VIP; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Donna Renee Honeycutt, 23, of 102 W. Dewey Rd., Victory Township, was found guilty Nov. 13 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; AHSE; must attend next session of VIP; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $870 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Eric James Melonas, 35, of 1962 Kennedy Blvd., Hamlin Township, was found guilty Nov. 13 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 31 days in jail with credit for one day served; must report to jail March 13, 2019 unless he’s attended Impact Weekend; must attend Alcoholics Anonymous twice a week for one year; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; AHSE; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $1,050 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Kyle William Cloutier, 26, of 20 E. Mechanic St., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 13 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient counseling; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of VIP; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Aidan Scott Hegg, 22, of 1103 S. Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 13 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; outpatient treatment; must attend next session of VIP; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $1,095 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Patricia Lynn Nagel, 54, of 1019 W. Hoague Rd., Grant Township, was found guilty Nov. 13 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; 47 hours of community service; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; $100.22 in restitution; and $595 in fines and costs.

Dismissals

– Johnnie Lynn Foster, 34, of 3122 W. Anthony Rd., Summit Township, one count of malicious destruction of property less than $200 was dismissed Nov. 9 “per victim’s request,” according to court records.

– Matt Jang Goosen, 46, of 930 Leonard St., SE, Grand Rapids, one count of assault and battery was dismissed Nov. 9 “per prosecutor’s deferment agreement.”

– William Judson Scott, 48, of 1016 N. Sherman St., Ludington, one count of assault and battery was dismissed Nov. 9 “per prosecutor’s deferment agreement.”
