Blessing of the Hunt on Nov. 10.

CUSTER TOWNSHIP — The Sugar Ridge Church of the Brethren, 2012 E. Wilson Road, will hold its annual Blessing of the Hunt on Saturday November 10, 2018 starting at 6:30 p.m. The church is located 2 ½ miles south and ½ mile west of Custer on Wilson Road.

The annual event is an outreach to the community by the church providing a meal, speaker, and a drawing for some door prizes for those attending. This year’s speaker will be Andrew (Andy) Knudsen, an avid local hunter. Andy is a great storyteller and currently is mentoring a young man in the skill and knowledge of hunting. He is a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
