Networking event will target those wishing to relocate to Mason County.

LUDINGTON — A networking opportunity with the intent to attract workers to Mason County will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 21 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Ludington Bay Brewing Company, 515 S. James St. Re-Think West Michigan is a chance for those who are visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, to interface directly with area business recruiters and human resource professionals about current and future career opportunities.

The Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce is one of six organizations  in west Michigan hosting events on the same night. The idea for the Re-Think West Michigan event is an in-person event that stems directly from Hello West Michigan’s mission to promote west Michigan as a place where business thrives and people want to live and work.

ReThink West Michigan targets candidates who are living outside of west Michigan and are interested in relocating. This is a unique chance for job seekers to network with eight area employers, discuss available career opportunities, and to how their talents may be used in Mason County.

The event is free and includes appetizers and two drink tickets for attendees. Register in advance by visiting www.rethinkwm.com.
