Ludington Area Jaycees Light Up the Night Music Series scheduled

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Jaycees has set dates for the annual Light Up the Night Music Series, a fundraiser for its Ludington Area Freedom Festival Fireworks Fund, which takes place on July 4. The event will feature live music at a different location each Wednesday night for six weeks, with local musicians donating their time and the establishment giving 10% of their food/drink sales during the event to the Fireworks Fund.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and past Freedom Festival t-shirts for sale at discounted prices with proceeds also benefiting the fireworks fund.

Performances will be from 7 to 9 p.m. and the schedule is as follows:

• Wednesday, November 7: Mike Luusua’s Amazing Invisible Orchestra at Jamesport Brewing Company, 410 S. James St.
• Wednesday, November 14th: Redux at Sandbar, 203 S. James St.
• Wednesday, November 21: Mike Lenich at Timbers, 320 S. Janes St.
• Wednesday, November 28: Adam Knudsen at Ludington Bay Brewing, 515 S. James St.
• Wednesday, December 5: Canopy Space at Ludington Pub, 209 S. James St.
• Wednesday, December 12: Fremont John at The Mitten, 109 W. Ludington Ave.
