Driver injured after single vehicle crash.

SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP — A 28-year-old Fountain woman received what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries following a single vehicle crash on Decker Road east of Campbell Road about 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29. According to the Michigan State Police on the scene, the woman was driving eastbound on Decker and apparently swerved to miss a deer, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree. The driver was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by ambulance.

Responding to the scene were Michigan State Police, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Fountain Area Fire Department, and Life EMS.
